Admission is currently free for all spectators at HfS events. Tickets (and accompanying tickets) can be reserved online in our ticket shop ten days before the first date of a performance series. For internal and specialised audiences, ticket links are sent out three weeks in advance - please contact the respective departments or the press office if you have any questions.
Tickets can be collected from the box office from one hour to 30 minutes before the start of the performance. Our evening service staff will be happy to help you. Unfortunately, there is no advance booking office beyond the online shop and the box office.
The University main building is just 350 metres on foot from Nordbahnhof station and can be reached by tram, bus and S-Bahn. The station is equipped with lifts and escalators and a guidance system for blind and visually impaired people. The main entrance can be accessed by car or minibus. The entrance is blocked by a barrier. It can be opened by reception via an intercom system.
The HfS Ernst Busch is essentially barrier-free for wheelchair users. The main building is accessible via a ramp next to the main entrance. The ramp is 20 metres long, 1.30 metres wide and has a gradient of 5.36%. The doors of the main entrance have two leaves with a total width of 2 metres, the door leaves are 1 metre wide. Unfortunately, the doors cannot be opened automatically.
All rooms are wheelchair-accessible without thresholds. There is a lift next to the stairwell. The lift is 1.10 metres wide and 1.40 metres deep.
Seats for wheelchair users and accompanying persons are located on the DOWN stage in the first row.
The lift mentioned above can be used to reach the stage ABOVE. Seats for wheelchair users and accompanying persons are located in the front row.
Barrier-free toilets can be found on the ground floor and 2nd floor. There are also barrier-free showers for students and teaching staff.
A tactile floor guidance system leads to reception. In the lifts, the floors and door movements are announced and the buttons are labelled in Braille.
The bat-Studiotheater is just 80m from the tram stop Prenzlauer Berg/Metzstraße. Another tram stop is Knaakstraße, just 400 metres away.
The bat-Studiotheater has parking spaces for people with disabilities in front of the main entrance. If you need a parking space, we will be happy to reserve one for you. Please contact us in advance at presse@hfs-berlin.de.
The studio stage can be reached at ground level via the main entrance. Access to the theatre hall is barrier-free. Our admission staff will be happy to assist you at any time during the admission process. Seats for wheelchair users and accompanying persons are located in the first row.
The rehearsal stages on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors can be reached by lift. The lift is 1.10m wide and 1.40m deep. There are no thresholds at the entrances to the stages.
